Falling Into Our Autumn Routine...

September always brings our family back from the cottage

rested and refreshed to begin another BuSy school year together.

I had my classroom to get together:

And, we had the first day of school:

[Happy Boy with his bestie in Kindergarten 'redux'...He is in Kindergarten again, and definitely ready for another good year...]

I love the changes that fall brings to our lazy days of summer:

We even got a new (very much needed) couch (!)

Soccer season started for Nature Boy with try-outs and 

after making the team,

A tournament this weekend that Nature Boy played mid-field
and enjoyed running up and down the field for four straight games which helped his team win.

All THREE of the boys are in flag football,

with Tin Man coaching TWO of the boy's teams.

Our beloved Detroit Lions season opener was today,

and with all that has been going on here,

 the only ones able to go to the game were Tin Man and Nature Boy:

AND,

Best of all, this fall also brought the early arrival of my sister's new baby,

a new baby boy who is just darling:

The fall is always a busy time for us,

but I have no complaints.

Life is good.
