Labor Day Weekend

As you see, we snuck in a few moments at the beach, on our last summer weekend at the cottage.

The boys also rode bikes,

And played with the kids in the neighborhood.

This is always the weekend to shut down our place in preparation for the coming winter-

Emptying the fridge,

And freezer,

Cleaning,

And finishing up the last loads of wash...

My parents were up with us too, which is always wonderful-

And we took walks, and even fit in dinner out,

And going to see the movie, The Butler, which was very historical, and good.

(Not great, just good-)

 

I also read (and finished) a great book, The Lucky Child, about a boy who survived the Holocast.

Okay.

I am now ready to get home, and back into the swing of a school year...
