Favorite Things This Summer: Beach Sand Candles & Nightime

I have a few favorite things about this summer,

and over the next few days,

I thought I would share-

(Today was a rain day, so there was a bit of time to blog!)

First on the favorite list:

I love, love, love summer nights at the cottage.

I light all my 'sand candles',

(explaination soon to follow-)

put the kids to bed,

and watch a movie,

or read.

This was last night.

(Sorry- poor picture quality with my cell phone:)

At the cottage,

I have a ton of white candles.

I like putting them in sand in old Mason jars with beach sand:

those are some of the things that seem make me smile this summer.
