'Twas The Night Before Thanksgiving...

'Twas the night before Thanksgiving-
And all through the house--
(Ruby Red was still cleaning-)
two boys were bathing,
while Dad played guitar.

The table was set by Ruby Red Slippers
with all of her care,
while her oldest boy
sat near with his DS.
(I know it doesn't rhyme--but what does rhyme with 'DS'?)

Our family was thankful
for the blessings this year.
A new teaching job,
and love all around.

Twas the night before Thanksgiving;
the boys now in bed.
Time for Ruby Red and Tin Man
to watch our Thanksgiving Tradition
(Planes, Trains and Automobiles)
while sipping a nice Lambrusco red.

Happy Thanksgiving from our home to yours~
We have so much to thank God for this year...
Our extended family coming to celebrate with us tomorrow-
my teaching wonderful job--
our healthy and great boys--
and the knowledge of God and His love for mankind.
How about you?
