Ahhhh..The Beach Days of Summer: Father's Day Weekend

We spent Father's Day weekend saying goodbye to my Dad and Mom who were heading home this past Saturday-what fun we had with them!!! You know how wonderful they are when you having all three boys crying that they don't spend enough time with their "Little Nana and Papa". Heartbreaking, actually~

But then we spent the rest of the weekend at the beach with our Cottage Neighbors/Friends. I wish you all could experience a Summer with our gang up here:

There is laughing, joking, and poking at dead fish;

Playing pirates on anchored Sea-Doos;

Running down the beach in "troupe" formation-the bigger boys heading the way for the little ones who have no trouble keeping up;

Army men in the sand to bury;

And kites to fly while wearing new sun glasses.

Parents were reading,

talking, tanning, or even taking quick trips into the water-for some

crazy-kite-boarder-who-needed-no-rescue-thank-you check...

...hauling kids around on Sea-Doos;

...and up close:

Soaking up the sun by day,

was followed by campfires at night as the worn-out kids headed to bed...

We fit in making cards for Tin Man for Father's day, and also headed to town to play tennis as a family for Father's Day...
