While out antiquing near the cottage with girlfriends,
a few things found a new cottage home with me:
An old piece of coral,
dusty and gritty,
placed on the mantle with care:
An ancient hand-nailed picnic basket,
for dinner at the beach,
or
filled with white towels for guests soon arriving:
Mason jars in a milkman's container,
for setting out silverware or candles with sand:
Nicked, battered, and weathered
Farmhouse table;
for serving tacos and guacamole,
or
whatever is on the menu at night:
for the summer.

(Spoiler alert: A few things have changed since last year!)

I enjoyed seeing your cottage finds. They are all fabulous, especially the mason jars.
Hope you are having a wonderful time at your cottage. Thinking of you.

Off to your summer cabin again...what great fun!
Love the vintage finds! When you were in Cincinnati, you & your girlfriends would have enjoyed shopping at the Florence Antique Mall, where I have my booth! If you make back to our area, take a look, there are lots of booths, 100 or so!
