Meet Mr. Hankelchief

Where are my manners?!

I should have introduced you to
Mr. Hankelchief
a long time ago.

He is an important member of this family,
and I can't believe you haven't met him yet~

What perfect timing! Today is his birthday, and He just pulled in the driveway.

I will go get him~he is just parking his car right now...

Look Out! Here comes Mr. Hankelchief!

My two older boys have always had such a tight bond as friends, we were concerned when we had our third little boy that he would be left out...But that has not been the case.

He actually became known as Mr. Hankelchief a long time ago...

...before he could crawl, or walk, or even talk.

My two older boys would talk to him, bring him toys, and entertain him.
...and include him in everything~

Even their imaginary play.

One day ~the boys were being boys, and just playing around...I kept hearing them mention, "Mr. Hankelchief this," and "Mr. Hankelchief that."

I had no idea who they were referring to.

"Mr. Hankelchief needs to sign this," and, "Don't forget to give a report to Mr. Hankelcheif so you don't get fired..."

I finally asked them~ "Who in the world is Mr. Hankelchief???"

They looked at each other and giggled.

"That's what we call the BABY!"

"We call him Mr. Hankelchief when we play-we are pretending that he is our boss! We didn't want him to feel left out when we were playing!"

Having a meeting with Mr. Hanklechief at the front door...

Happy Birthday, Mr. Hankelchief~You sure are loved around here!

That is so cute!! I love it!

My oldest son could never say our middle son's name and they are very close in age (only 15 months aprat!) so he nicknamed him, to this day that nick name has stuck, 7 years later!

So one day your "baby" is the CEO of a major corporation he might just ask his employees to call him Mr. Hanklechief. ;-)

So sweet! I love that they made him the BOSS! Most brothers would've given the little brother a lower position. I hope my boys are like that when it's time to have a third baby!

Oh and thanks for plugging my blog series! You are officially entered!

How sweet! My first two boys are also older than our last son, and this has been a difficulty for the family "unity" as they have turned into teens and our last is just turning ten. What a great thing that your big boys found a way to include your babe - while making him feel like ' the boss' !
