Come On In! I Must Be Avoiding Something If I Am Washing The Kitchen Floor~

I was washing the kitchen floor -and cleaning the kitchen-the other day. See? It was a mess again:
{Translation: there must be another job around here that is more important, but I don't want to do it.}

I made {the BEST~if I do say so myself!} Potato Soup, then scrubbed the kitchen down, and lit a fragrant candle. I cleaned the toliets, I emptied the dishwasher, I cleaned kiddie poo off the stairs. {Tramatic, gross, but still almost better than what I should have been doing-}I took out the trash. I cleared the driveway of snow.

What I really was doing {Sure-if you want to be technical -NOT doing~}was avoiding this:
I really H.A.T.E. putting laundry away.
So me and my laundry watched T.V. together the other night.
I think I can get to it tomorrow.
I think...
I have everything crossed off my Outlook Task List.
{Except ONE thing...}
Maybe I will be called to substitute at my boy's school.
Now THAT would be a fun day!
{Much Better than Laundry, for sure!}

Whew! I am relieved to find out I'm not the only one!! Putting away the laundry is the WORRST chore for me. But, WOW!, look at that spotless kitchen. :)

Me too...maybe it was our childhood! I can do almost anything but putting away laundry...I can carry it down, wash it, put it in baskets...BUT then something happens!

Your kitchen is sparkling!

I hate doing that too!

I have a dream some day that I will have a laundry room with bins, and all the clean clothes will just go in the bins, so I don't have to lug it all upstairs and into 3-4 different rooms.

Or they have automatic vacuums (Roomba) and mopping things (Scumba) - why not a Laundraba???

I can dream, right?

It seems everyone hates laundry. I'll let you in on a secret...I actually like to do laundry. It's my favorite household chore. I know...I'm weird.

First... is that a Rachel Ray Bubble and brown stoneware cooker thingy in Gold? How do you like it! I was thinking about getting the green set...

Second... IT IS SO NICE to see that I am not the only one that HATES putting laundry away... and that my kitchen looks just like yours some days... I FEEL NORMAL NOW!

Third... I have my kids put their own clothes away...They hate it... but I don't have to do it that way!!!

I understand completely about laundary. There are 6 of us in my house and 4 are GIRLS. Girls who like to change clothes all the time! I hate folding and putting away clothes too, almost as much as I hate unloading the dishwasher! :) Speaking of which...........I better get busy!

You are a wonderful housemama! Some days it just to be too much. The laundry. I have laundry sitting in the washer & dryer from yesterday. And I've refluffed the stuff in the dryer twice. And yet it sits.

Think about all the OTHER stuff that you did!! :)

I HATE laundry. Yes, I know it is a strong word. It fits.

I, do however, LOVE your "Eat at Mom's" sign!!!

I tend to put the ironed laundry in our spare room until I can be bothered to put it away! I was watching wife swap the other day and one family kept ALL their clean clothes on top of the pool table and all their dirty ones underneath. It was so funny.
Sorry to hear you have more snow. It's below freezing here again and more ice to cope with in the morning. Urrrrrrgggghhhh!!!

Oh honey! I thought kids were a natural choice for slave labor??? :)

I sort as I fold straight out of the dryer - it's easier to get motivated to put it away. But most days I'd rather much horse stalls, LOL!

(LOVE YOUR KITCHEN!)
