We are NOT at Disney World right now.
But we were last January with my parents.
It was so great to take a family trip, and then also have my parents come down and join us for a day at Epcot.
Memories!!!
Love that~
I wanted to tell you about my mom today.
I have mentioned her before, and if you want to read more about my devotion to my mom, start HERE.
Not only was my mom a fantastic mother-
She is the best Nana.
EVER.
PERIOD.
Here is one {of many~} reasons why:
Every single time she comes over to our house, she brings each of my boys a small treat bag.
{Seriously, EVERY time!}
When my boys hear Little Nana come through the door, they come running from every corner in the house, yelling, "NANA'S HERE! NANA'S HERE!!!".
********
They love their treat bags, I am sure, but each of my boys have a special relationship with my parents.
My nine year old asked for his birthday gift to have a sleepover with Little Nana and Papa. On his own, without any brothers! He was pampered, taken out to dinner, stayed up late watching basketball with Nana, and then even a special trip to Target to pick out a little something.
My Seven year old misses Nana so much sometimes he (cries, and ) asks to call her on the phone.
(Ummm. They live fifteen minutes away, we see them weekly!)
My Three year old and I spend the day with Nana when she comes over each week for lunch (I happily provide) and laundry (again, I happily provide...). She plays games, brings treats, and takes walks with him.
Memories!
Love them~
Thank you, Mom for being the wonderful Grandparent you are~You are loved so much by us all!!!

Those Nana's are good at spoiling boys! Sounds like you have wonderful parents. Congratulations to your Dad on retirement - 79 years - wow!
What an adorable family.
Thanks for commenting on my blog.
Love this about your parents. Good grandparent are the greatest gift a child can have.
Love all the pictures of your beautiful boy family.
I will have to check out Italian Mama as well. I can always use more boy parenting advice.
I love this. A LOT. What a sweet tribute to your parents. I can't think of anything better than Grandparents who take time with kiddos. It's truly a magical relationship. So happy Little Nana came around with treats today :) You touched me
Your parents sound just like mine~~ A blessing from above!!! Nurse Boy and I always talk about what fabulous grandparents we will be one day. It is great to have fabulous mentors!!

Your Mom sounds such a special person. I enjoyed hearing about her and feel like I 'know' her a little bit more now. Congratulations to your Dad on his retirement. I am sure he will want to spend even more time with you all now.
Hope you are having a great Saturday.
