What do I LOVE?
Our ottoman:
Rather than a coffee table, we thought a long time ago this ottoman was perfect for our {hopefully!} growing family with one little boy.It's Red.
{My favorite color~}
It's big.
{Has plenty of uses~}
Like: While reading or watching T.V., It is the perfect place to rest your feet.

It is the perfect place to play with a friend:
Over the years, Matchbox cars have driven over it.
The kids have jumped off it~And raced around it.
Sometimes it has been the other side of a blanket tent.
{Even the dog sleeps on it~}
So when you take a closer look, you see the years in our ottoman:
...and that's why I *heart* our ottoman.
Behind each scratch, pen mark, and divot is a story of raising my three little boys.

I would love to have one of those over here, but they don't sell them here, or I haven't seen one. But I do have a small type one that I love.
It is cute, Jasper saw the pic of your boy with the little girl and he said "eli." He was so happy...lol
I love your ottoman too.
I am not sure what I love best in our home, maybe the name plate signs I did for our towels in the bathroom.
Oh, I love it! It's perfect! We have a toy box/coffee table like that in our family room that was beautiful shiny wood when we bought it...and is very distressed/antiqued thanks to two little ones! haha! I love furniture that is kid-friendly and shows that you live there! We also have a leather ottoman that we use so much! I love how big and comfy yours is! Such cute boys!

The thing I love the most in our home is my bed! It's so comfy and cosy. I will be sad when we get a new one and have to say goodbye to it one day.

I agree with Lindsay on this one...my bed takes the cake. When I crawl into it at night (literally!), I collapse into a pillow of softness. Aahhh! Now that I've read about how much you love your ottoman...I really want one, too!
I heart my ottoman too. But I just realized the one thing I like the best as far as the boys are concerned is this silly little step stool from IKEA. I painted it and they carry it around the house and use it for everything. It has been a table, a garage, a fix it station, you name it! I love it.

my house? it is silly... but i love my dessert plates. a rack for four... and plates for all seasons, and a lot of holidays. just a bit of fun...
Your ottoman is the best--I love being able to see all the wear and play on it. It tells a story for sure!
Right now, I love our kitchen table bench. The boys love eating there-standing there-looking out the kitchen picture window. I like it because I can invision them there for years to come!!
That does look comfy! And I love the size of it. Why don't I have an ottoman?

Oh my. I love this post. I love the ottoman too. I think our most beautiful pieces of furniture are the ones that show the love. Very pretty indeed : )
My grandmother had a coffee table that served the same purpose for all of us grandkids. Except she complained we were all ruining it (as she stubbed out her cigarette). Ha!
