With warm weather making its slow way to Michigan, I finally got my bag together.
Every Spring, Summer, and Fall, you will find this bag in my truck.
The Picnic Bag:
Get a bag to fill:
In your Picnic Bag you will need:
A blanket (to sit on~)
a small plastic bag (for garbage), a roll of paper towels (for messes) or wipes,
a pack of paper plates,
and cups (we found some that are collapsible-)
Store in the back of your car for the days when you can have an impromptu picnic with the family!
Oops! I forgot one thing. One very important thing for the three boys who hang with me:
Okay. Got the necessary ingredient: The Soccer Ball.
Now we're ready for a picnic!

your picnic bag idea is fantastic! and of course, you have to add the ball in for fun :) i havemy beach chairs pretty well packed (they each have a backpack/storage thing on them) but i never really thought to keep them IN the car! now i just might! with some picnic stuff, too!

That's a great idea to be all ready like that for your picnics.
We have a long weekend as Monday is a bank holiday so all the offices/schools are closed. As usual on a bank holiday weekend it is already pouring with rain! We have been known to drive down to our local country park and have a picnic in the car by the lake.
So yes I am ready for a picnic but please tell that to the weather.

How... on God's green earth... with three sons... does your car stay so empty in the back... I can't even SEE the floor in the back of my car... baseball gear, folding chairs, soccer balls, bats, visors, blankets...
