God Answers Prayer Sunday

***Week Two Building Your Own Prayer Basket***
Leave a comment-I am here to pray for you today, and all this week. Know as you pray-someone else is joining you!
I am showing you each week how to assemble your own prayer basket. This week, add a Bible-
As I am writing this post, I am listening to this:
Chris Rice- Untitled Hymn (Come To Jesus)
Weak and wounded sinner
Lost and left to die
O, raise your head, for love is passing by
Come to Jesus, Come to Jesus, Come to Jesus, and live!
Now your burden's lifted
And carried far away
And precious blood has washed away the stain, so
Sing to Jesus, Sing to Jesus, Sing to Jesus, and live!
And like a newborn baby
Don't be afraid to crawl
And remember when you walk
Sometimes we fall...so
Fall on Jesus, Fall on Jesus, Fall on Jesus, and live!
Sometimes the way is lonely
And steep and filled with pain
So if your sky is dark and pours the rain, then
Cry to Jesus, Cry to Jesus, Cry to Jesus, and live!
O, and when the love spills over
And music fills the night
And when you can't contain your joy inside, then
Dance for Jesus, Dance for Jesus, Dance for Jesus, and live!
And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side, and
Fly to Jesus, Fly to Jesus, Fly to Jesus, and live!
I can hardly contain my tears whenever I hear it-

Two of my husband's cousins were in a car accident on Thursday. One was 8 years old and I am sad to say she did not make! The other cousin who is in her 50s is still in critical condition! Please be in prayer for this family! It's been a rough couple of days! Thanks so much for your prayers!! This really means more to me than you know!

Blessing

Jen

This is a sweet post. I love that verse in Phil. I will pray for Jen too and her husband's family as they are going through this tough time of loss. May the Lord give them comfort and peace and the strength to get through this.

Please pray for my 16 year old son. My husband and I are having a hard time handling his Rebellion. He has made some horrible choices in the past year and it has led to his dad and I not trusting him. (drinking etc). HELP....
I am so sad for Jen (first comment)..I will be in prayer for her family.
Thank you for praying for us...Julie

What beautiful words! I could really use some prayers. My next door neighbor's daughter (who is best friends with my daughter) had a brain tumor removed on Tuesday. On Thursday they found out she has stage 3 brain cancer. They couldn't get the whole tumor out because it's wrapped around the stem of her brain. She is the cutest little 7 year old. It just breaks my heart. If you could join me in praying for her and add her to any prayer chains you know of. I would love to get the word out about her so she can have as many prayers as possible. Her name is Savannah Evans, she is 7.

Thanks and bless you!

XOXO
Jen
